Parent Drop off begins at 8:55am, after buses unload.
Parent Pick up is promptly at 2:45pm to allow for students to load the buses safely at 3:00pm. See you on Monday!
Hello Grand Valley Elementary, we can't wait to see all of you on Monday, January 11th. Please remember arrival and dismissal looks different this year, due to COVID-19 and social distancing. Arrival- Parents will not be able to access the elementary drop off area until 8:55 a.m. when the buses leave the elementary complex. The parent drop off line will begin at the STOP sign in the parking area closest to the stadium. Please be patient. Students will begin dismissing from the buses at 8:45 a.m. Students getting off buses will proceed to the following doors: Kindergarten-1st-Main Office Doors,2nd-3rd third grade doors, 4th-5th cafeteria doors. Teachers will be at each door taking the temperature of each child entering the school and to monitor social distancing. After the buses leave, parents will be asked to move forward to the elementary main office doors. ALL students being dropped off by a parent will enter the main office doors. No parents are allowed to enter the school. Please have your child wear a mask upon exiting the car. Pickup- Please contact the school office each day by 10:00 a.m. with a note or phone call if your child is getting picked up by you or a family member. Dismissal for pick up riders is promptly at 2:45. Please use regular communication with the school, this will help us prevent delays in dismissal. Students will be dismissed at 3:00 or when all students have been picked up by their parents for bus dismissal. If you need a car tag, please contact the school office. This is a reminder that GV will host a College Credit Plus Information Session for all interested students and their guardians, grades 6-11, on Tuesday, January 12th at 6:00 p.m. Please see the attached flyer for our virtual session link. We hope to see you there.
Middle School and High School picture retakes will be Thursday, 1/14/21 during school for in person students from 12:00-1:30pm. For online students only from 4:00-6:00pm after school. Please enter through front office doors. If you would like your picture package exchanged with the retake photo, you must return the original picture package on 1/14/21.

Due to the wonderful response of home door to door delivery via school bus routes, we will not be able to start the home delivery meals until Monday, December 7th. Please check the Grand Valley Website on Friday, December 4th for the scheduled time slot for your bus route. You may still pick up meals at the designated drop off sites and on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 - 5:30 pm in front of the Grand Valley High School/Middle School offices when school is in session.
