Good Morning GVES Parents,
All parent car pick ups MUST have a GVES car tag hanging from the mirror. If you need a car tag, please call the office or send a note with your child prior to the pickup. For your child’s safety, you will have to park and sign your child out after the parent pick up time at 3:35pm if you do not have a GVES car tag. Thank you for helping keep all our students safe! Welcome Back GVES!
Grand Valley Elementary Drop-off and Pickup
Arrival- Parents will not be able to access the elementary drop off area until 8:55 a.m. when the buses leave the elementary complex. The parent drop off line will begin at the STOP sign in the parking area closest to the stadium. Please be patient. Students will begin dismissal from the buses at 8:45 a.m. Students getting off buses will proceed to the following doors: Kindergarten-1st-Main Office Doors,2nd-4th third grade doors, students getting breakfast will enter through the cafeteria.
After the buses leave the parking area, parents will be asked to move forward to the elementary main office doors. ALL students being dropped off by a parent will enter the main office doors. No parents are allowed to enter the school.
Pickup- Please contact the school office each day by 10:00 a.m. with a note or phone call if your child is getting picked up by you or a family member. Dismissal for pick up riders is promptly at 3:25. Please use regular communication with the school, this will help us prevent delays in dismissal. Students will be dismissed at 3:35 or when all students have been picked up by their parents for bus dismissal. If you need a car tag, please contact the school office. You must have a car pick up tag. Thank you for all of your support. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the school office.440-805-4545 Option 1.
GVMS Parents- We will be holding a Meet the Teacher night on Monday, August 23rd from 6:00-7:00. You will have the opportunity to meet your child's teacher, locate their core classes, and locate and practice opening their lockers.
The first 5 minutes of this event will be held in the cafe/auditorium. Hotdogs will be served at 6:30PM, so if you are done early join us outside by the main doors. Thank you PTO!
Mustang eye black provided by our Middle School PTO ($2.00) - proceeds will go toward our Mustangs school supplies - we have plenty of food as well - we just need YOU!
