The evacuation drill to Kraftmaid has been completed. All students and staff are safe. All MS & HS students have boarded buses for home. For this drill only, elementary students, HS/MS Open Enrollment students, student drivers, regular pickups, athletes, and students who work at the elementary after the MS/HS day have walked back to GV for normal pick up and after school procedures. Please communicate with your children tonight to learn about the process they experienced today. If you have any questions, please reach out to your building principal.

The Boys of Blue will take on Oberlin High School today for the Sectional Championship at Turk Family Field at 5:00 pm.
We want to thank the Turk Family and the GV School Board for their support in upgrading our baseball field this year. Those upgrades made it possible for us to play today even after all the rain. Go Mustangs!

Grand Valley would like to thank the Plizga family for sponsoring the baseball team's game at the Mahoning Valley Scrappers Minor League Ballpark.
In addition to those students completing ATECH certifications, volunteerism, and earning the honors diploma, we have had a unique set of individuals who have chosen to attend college WHILE remaining a high school student through the CCP or College Credit Plus program.
These students complete a number of hours - on or off the GV campus, primarily through Kent State University, Lakeland Community College, Youngstown State University or formerly through Eastern Gateway Community College.
These scholars have taken over 192 college courses, earned approximately 576 college credits while completing their high school graduation requirements.
At an approximate college credit rate of $451.05 per semester hour, these students’ accomplishments have saved our seniors over $259,804.00 in college tuition.
Scholarship and award amounts reported to the guidance department from graduating seniors, approx. $1,154,650.00!
