Middle School Penny Wars

The week of February 1st, the Middle School students had a Penny War to raise money for the Haitian Earthquake Relief efforts of The American Red Cross.

Friday, February 12, 2010, Bob & Joanne Bevacqua and Cheri Garcher met at Middlefield Banking Company in Middlefield to deliver the many pounds of pennies that the students had accumulated.  They received a call from the bank with the grand total of the students' efforts.  $636.57 had been raised, which will be sent to the Cleveland Chapter of The American Red Cross.
