Great Season for our Boys Basketball Team!

Grand Valley’s Youth Philanthropic organization spent the day interviewing area nonprofit organizations who were seeking grant funds through the Ashtabula Foundation.

This week our GVHS students got to explore the Olweus Bullying Prevention ideals and discuss responsibility, safety, and respect through various leadership activities! Their contributions in how to impact change were valuable and engaging! We are so proud of their hard work!

Thanks to all of our volunteers at Grand Valley tonight. Helping put on the Amish basketball tournament for athletics. Thanks to the Amish community for coming out!

Grand Valley students had the opportunity to participate in activities last week to celebrate the National No One Eats Alone Initiative. No One Eats Alone is a Positive Prevention Initiative that aims to create a culture of belonging where all students feel accepted, respected and valued.
Along with daily announcements emphasizing the importance of connection with one another, students were also given the opportunity during lunch to use conversation bingo cards and conversation starters to encourage connection with others. Students then discussed things they learned about each other and how they connected. Students who completed the activity were entered into a prize drawing.
