GV High School students attending the OMEA District 5 Honors Choir Festival held at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown, Ohio. The ensemble is comprised of top high school choral students from Ashtabula, Trumbull, and Mahoning Counties. Have a great day GV!

We kick off the National Red Ribbon celebration this week. The theme is........Send A Message. Stay Drug Free. Students will wear Red on Monday to kick off the week. We look forward to a week of contests, prizes and learning!

GV staff participated in “Stop the Bleed” training today. There will be one Stop the Bleed bucket for every classroom in the district ­that will serve as valuable, life saving resources for students and staff in the event of an emergency. GV bus drivers will also be getting this training soon. Thank you to UH Hospitals, South Central Ambulance and Shaun Buehner. Have a great weekend GV!

Attention all Grand Valley fans who are attending tonight’s High School Girls Soccer Playoff Game at Conneaut. The game is being held at 240 Stadium Ave., Conneaut Ohio. Due to a bowling league at the bowling alley, there will be no soccer game parking allowed at El Camp Lanes The Conneaut Athletic Director asks that all fans coming to the match either park in areas designated for athletic parking, or in the surrounding neighborhood. People can park on the south side of Maple Avenue, in the General Electric parking lot, or in the grassy area designated for parking in the northwest of our football stadium. Thank you!

Retake picture day for the MS and HS will be October 16th. If your student was absent on the last picture day, please get an order form from the office. If you want retakes, please bring in your pictures with you and give to the photographer. ATECH Students: Interstate Studio will be here at 7am if you would like your picture taken. Calling all bakers! The GV Choir is sponsoring an Apple Pie Contest and Auction October 15th. We are also in need of any type of pie donation for our "by the slice" sale. Pies can be dropped off at GV on the 15th. Any contributions are appreciated!!!!

Financial Aid Informational Night will be on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 6:00 pm in the GVHS Study Hall.
