Dear Grand Valley Community,
I would like to thank you for your patience and support during these uncertain times.
I am thankful to report we have had no students in our buildings who have tested positive for COVID-19. I attribute this accomplishment to all the hard work and dedication of our students, families and school staff ensuring all measures are taken to keep themselves and others safe.
Please let this great news act as a reminder to continue doing what you are doing. This includes:
- Proper mask wearing
- Frequent hand washing
- Maintaining 6 feet physical distance when possible
- Following Grand Valley Sick Guidelines 2020-2021
- Etc.
As the cold and flu season is creeping upon us, we ask that you continue to follow the Sick Guidelines 2020-2021. These guidelines have been given to us by the Ashtabula County Health Department to ensure the health and safety of not only our school, but the community at large.
Please rest assured Grand Valley Local Schools and the Ashtabula County Health Department will notify you if your child was exposed to anyone who tests positive for COVID-19.
