I first would like to thank everyone for their patience as we figure out how to navigate properly and together during these ever changing times. Last Wednesday about 6:30 pm the Governor's Office and the OHSAA released a series of documents as to what each school will need to follow to allow fans to attend athletic contests. The Grand Valley Athletic Department (Athletes & Coaches) along with help from the GV Athletic Boosters and other GV Administrators, upgraded our facilities to meet these requirements in these documents. Today Grand Valley Local Schools submitted their plans for approval to the Ashtabula County Health Department. Once our plans are approved we will be releasing the details to everyone.

This week we will be allowing our teams to compete but with limited fans to make sure we are not only able to keep everyone safe but also to make sure we can properly manage the events. Unfortunately with all other schools also rushing to comply with these standards this will be a day by day situation. The athletic department will be communicating with each coach and the coaches will pass this message along to their players and families.

As soon as we can let everyone know what we feel is a solid concrete plan that is approved by the County Health Department we will release more information. Our goal is to allow as many people as possible to support our student athletes and the innocence of High School Athletics!

The schedules for the first two weeks of athletic events for the Grand Valley Athletic teams will be posted tonight on social media and our website. Please contact the athletic department with any questions or concerns. Thank You and we hope to see everyone soon!
