GRAND VALLEY,
We have produced two documents that will help explain how we intend to reopen schools safely this fall. I am reviewing our plan documents with the Health Department on Thursday, July 16th. I have given the drafts to the Safe Return to School Task Force Chairpersons to review. The plan is a Framework and the details on how each department/building operates is being worked on by the Task Force and many others.
Our goal is to have the plan Board approved on Monday, July 20th and then available to the public on Tuesday, July 21st. Keeping in mind, things may change daily, so it will be updated accordingly with recommendations from public health and state officials. I know there is unrest and stress with all of this and we will try our hardest to be as safe as possible for everyone.
