This message pertains to Grand Valley Elementary students in grades PreK thru 4.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, December 20th, will be a Pajama Day for all students. Grade levels K-4 will be engaging is some kind of a Holiday event in the morning and will have a Holiday Party in the afternoon. A reminder that ONLY those parents designated as Party Helpers should plan on attending classroom parties. We wish you all a joyous holiday and a very Happy New Year.
There have been rumors filtering through the school and social media regarding recent alleged threats. Law enforcement has been involved and investigated the rumors alongside of the administration at Grand Valley. Grand Valley Local Schools has determined that there is not validity to the rumors. Please know we have followed district safety protocols while investigating. We hope you have a joyous holiday season.

Parents,
This message is being sent out to let families know that we will be disabling Parent Access accounts for any students in grades Kindergarten through 12th grade who have not paid their school fees by Thursday, December 14th. The Grand Valley High School FFA and the Construction Technology classes have team up and are selling assorted Fruit Crates for $25. Contact Mr. Hejduk at 440-437-6260 if you are interested or you would like more information.

Middle School canned good donations to the Mr. Dingman and High School Drama to watch Game of Tiaras. The canned goods are being sent to Orwell Country Neighbor for the food pantry!

GVMS Student Council wants to raise money for local families during the winter season and we need your help! On Thursday, November 16th you may pay $1 (or more if you’d like!) to your homeroom teacher to wear pajamas for the day.

Contest Time:
The Homeroom who collects the most money will receive a donut party Friday morning for their generosity.
*Money will be donated to a local family on a recent tragedy as well as to a fund to purchase warm clothing for GV students who may not have these necessities otherwise.
*PJs must follow dress code.
*Slippers are permitted.
Attention Grand Valley High School Senior Parents:
Seniors received information to order their Cap and gown and other graduation items yesterday. Our Jostens representative will be here to take orders on Thursday, November 16th during lunch. Extra packets are available in the main office or by visiting Jostens.com to see what is available and place your order online. A separate order day will be held at A-Tech in December for the A-Tech Students. Date to follow. Thank you.
