Grand Valley Local Schools is taking part in the Stay In The Game with the Cleveland Browns! This is a new attendance initiative for all K-12 students. Stay tuned for more information. Check out some of the swag the Cleveland Browns sent us to give away! 2 Signed footballs, 1 by Wyatt Teller, and 1 by Denzel Ward, and plenty more!

The Ohio Legislature recently passed a law requiring schools to adopt a cell phone policy that prohibits student use during the instructional day — including passing periods, lunch, recess, and other supervised activities. In short, students will not be permitted to access or use their cell phones at any time during the school day. Students will still be permitted to bring their cell phones to school, but they may be required to store them securely until dismissal. We are currently reviewing our options and will share the finalized policy soon.
