After reading the book I Am Malala, the students in 6th grade ELA Enrichment class held a fishbowl discussion to talk about it. A fishbowl discussion is where 5 people sit in a center circle "the fishbowl" to discuss a topic while the other students silently observe from outside. Once everyone in the center has commented, outside circle students "tap in" to join the discussion and keep it going.
