To:  Grand Valley High School Class of 2021

We wanted to make sure everyone knows the details regarding graduation.  This year, graduation will be on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 4:00 p.m.  Graduation will be held in the stadium outdoors.  Each family will receive 10 tickets to watch graduation, but this does not include your graduate.  In order to gain entrance into the stadium, you MUST have purchased your free tickets online at the hometown ticketing app PRIOR to the event.  More info will be given to your graduate on how to do this.  Additional tickets can be requested, but there is no guarantee as this is a first come, first serve basis.  You must respond to the google survey that is posted in the NEWS  section of the Website or posted on our social media sites.  ADDITIONAL GRADUATION TICKET REQUEST

All families who attend must sit in pods of 10 and must be at least 6 feet away from another pod of 10.  We will allow families into the stadium until we reach the capacity for the stadium for graduation.  Also, although we will be outdoors, we are still required to wear face masks.  If it rains on Saturday, we will move graduation to Sunday, May 30th at 2:15 p.m.  If it rains Sunday, we will have an indoor plan, but it will require us to limit the number of tickets to 5 tickets per family.  More information will come closer to the graduation date, but it will still take place on May 30th if it rains both Saturday and Sunday.

Seniors need to check their email daily to see if there are any updates on graduation plans.  Thank you all for your patience and understanding as we have been planning, in order to have as traditional a graduation ceremony as possible this year.  We look forward to seeing your children graduate after all of their years of hard work and dedication.
