Mustang

From the desk of Ms. Cozad:

Several things to note:

Locker and belonging pick up will be as follows:

Monday 5/18/2020- 5th grade- 8 a.m. -6p.m.

Tuesday 5/19/2020 - 6th grade -  8 a.m. -6p.m.

Wednesday 5/20/2020- 7th grade 8 a.m. -6p.m.

Thursday 5/21/2020- 8th grade  8 a.m. -6p.m.

If you have more than one student in the school district, you can drive around to the school that your child is in, or if in the MS you can indicate you have multiple children, and you can pick up their items and do NOT have to drive to the school on a separate day.  The protocol will be as follows for pick up.

All MS parents will drive around to the North entrance loop and stop at the North entrance door.  Please have a sign in the window with your child's or children's names on it and their grade level if not on the same grade level day as scheduled.  Hold the sign up to the window, and a teacher will bring out the bag of items and will collect the school books as well.  Please be courteous and have a mask on whoever is in the car to keep everyone safe. We would LOVE to see your children if you want to bring them, but keep them in the car.  We miss their smiling faces!  We will bring the items out to you and pick up the textbooks or school-owned supplies (library books, classroom library books, band instruments, etc.) from you, please remain in your car.  Please keep in mind in your locker bag will be your Dodgeball refund if you sent in money for the Dodgeball tournament, an entrance ticket to Pioneer Waterland for the summer, any medications the school has for your child, and your child's yearbook if he or she purchased one.

If you will have someone else pick up your child's belongings and drop off their school-owned items, you MUST call the Middle School office (440-805-4545 x2) and let Ms. McElroy know that you are allowing someone else to pick up the belongings.

The technology survey calls you are getting from your teachers or will be getting are very important so please help us gather the needed information.  The call will be pertaining to information that MAY be used if next school year is “non-traditional” at any point similar to our current situation. This will be a survey of at maximum ten questions about the means of technology and internet services that your child MAY need next year. This will only be shared with the administration of Grand Valley to make the best accommodations for your child.

Reminder:

  • Please have your child check their school email address daily.  Many teachers are checking in with them there.

Stay safe and healthy!

Go Mustangs!
