Last night the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) announced the cancellation of the High School Spring Sports Season. This announcement came after Governor DeWine announced that all school districts will remain operating in the distance learning manner that they have been operating in since Mid-March. This was a tough decision and with some, not a popular one. We are in uncharted waters at the moment and the main concern and goal is to try our best to keep as many people as safe as possible so we are able return to normality soon.
With that being said the Grand Valley Athletic Department below has listed information about Spring Pay to Participation Fees and the return of any uniforms or school owned equipment. Please read the information below and feel free to contact the Grand Valley Athletic Department with any questions. Spring Sports Pay to Participate Fee
Grand Valley will be offering two different options for anyone who has paid their Spring Sports Pay to Participate Fee.
Option 1: Refund If you would like to be refunded please contact the GV Athletic Office and request a refund. You will need to provide your athletes name & sport along with an address to which the refund check can be mailed to. The deadline to sign up for a "Refund" is Friday May 1st. All refunds will be issued at once after the May 1st deadline.
Option 2: Roll Over All pay to participate fees that are not refunded will be automatically rolled over and applied to the next sport the student athlete participates in. Please note that any paid pay to participate fee can not be used to pay another school fee!
Uniform / Equipment Return
Any person who was given a team uniform or school owned equipment will need to return these items to the GV Athletic Department. Please contact the GV Athletic Department to set up arrangements to do so. Any unreturned item will be billed to the student athlete.
