Winter Sports Season
OHSAA State Tournaments
At the end of last week the OHSAA made the decision to cancel all the remaining Winter Sports State Tournaments. Though this was a tough decision it was the best decision at this time. This ended the season and High School Wrestling Career for Mason Shreve. Mason was scheduled to compete in this year’s State Wrestling Tournament. Congrats on a great season Mason!
Winter Sports Awards Banquet
At this time this year’s Winter Sports Awards Banquet has been canceled. Each player’s awards will be put into individual envelopes and set aside at this time. If school returns this year they will be passed out at that time. If School does not return other arrangements will be made.
Spring Sports Season
Spring Sports Season
Yesterday Governor DeWine announced the closure of schools in the state of Ohio until the beginning of May. At this time the OHSAA has not officially released a statement as to their plans are for the Spring Sports Season. The possibility of this year’s Spring Sports Season to be canceled is becoming more of a reality every day. At this moment the Athletic Department is working out final details for both situations. Updates will be sent out as soon as more information is known.
Pay to Participate Fees
If the 2020 Spring Sports Season is canceled, those families who have paid their Spring Sports Season Pay to Participate Fee will have two choices….1) Roll their fee over to a sport for the 2020-2021 School Year…or… 2) Be issued a refund. For those who wish to receive a refund please note that all refunds will be issued on the same date. The procedures for this matter will be sent out at a later date if needed.
